Former Tyler Pizza Ranch hopes to stay open, sans franchise (Marshall Independent)

Jerry Einck said he wants to stay in the restaurant business in Tyler, but not be a part of the Pizza Ranch chain. Einck, owner of the former Pizza Ranch franchise in Tyler, said Tuesday the future of the restaurant, which closed and then reopened this month, is still a little uncertain. It will take some upcoming legal meetings to officially decide if Einck can leave the franchise, he said.
